Lead a dedicated accounting team and coordinate day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements and information.
Drive the budgeting process and support financial planning activities.
Coordinate year-end and other activities with external auditors.
Evaluate accounting processes and internal controls, identifying opportunities to strengthen efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
Recommend and implement process improvements across the Accounting function.
Develop and monitor meaningful business and financial performance metrics.
Provide management with accurate, timely financial information to support informed decision making.
Oversee regulatory reporting, including applicable tax planning and compliance activities.
Balance competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.

What You'll Bring

Progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
A professional accounting designation (CPA).
Previous supervisory or management experience.
Experience working within a multi-entity organization.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence working with leaders and employees across different areas of the business.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Why Join Armtec?

This is an opportunity to take on a highly visible Finance leadership role where your expertise can have a meaningful impact.

You'll have the opportunity to lead a team, influence processes, strengthen financial controls and provide information that directly supports business decisions. The role also provides ongoing learning and development opportunities, including internal and external training.

If you're an experienced accounting professional ready to take ownership, develop people and contribute to the continued success of an established Canadian manufacturer, we'd like to hear from you.
