Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Tile and Stone Installer role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Tile and Stone Installer will be responsible for preparing surfaces, measuring and cutting materials, and installing marble, stone, and tile for floors, walls, countertops, and other surfaces. Day-to-day tasks include mixing and applying adhesives and grout, setting and aligning tiles and stone, and performing polishing and finishing work to meet quality standards. The role also involves inspecting completed installations, performing minor repairs, maintaining tools and equipment, following safety procedures, and coordinating with project managers and other trades on residential and commercial sites.

• Strong skills in tile and stone installation, including measuring, cutting, setting, levelling, and grouting for residential and commercial applications.
• Experience with stone fabrication and finishing, such as polishing, edge detailing, minor restoration, and handling marble and other natural stones.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices, safe material handling, and proper use and maintenance of installation tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a focus on high-end finishes, quality control, and problem-solving on complex installations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades on-site.
• Previous experience as a tile and stone installer or related trade in construction or renovation environments; experience on luxury or high-end projects is an asset.
• Valid authorization to work in Canada; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation within the Greater Toronto Area are considered an asset.
