We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Contract Operator to support operations in the Karr North and Karr East areas. The successful candidate will possess extensive oil and gas operating experience and demonstrate strong leadership, troubleshooting, and mentoring capabilities. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations across multiple production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain production facilities, multi-well pads, battery operations, compressor stations, and storage facilities.
- Monitor well performance and optimize production activities.
- Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Ensure accurate production reporting and data entry.
- Respond effectively to operational issues and emergency situations.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Support and mentor junior operations personnel.
- Work collaboratively with field, maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve operational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of oil and gas operating experience.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Multi-well pad operations
- Battery operations
- Compressor stations
- Well performance optimization
- Storage facilities
- Experience with SCADA systems and Prodman production entry.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a tooled truck.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a demanding workload.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior operations staff.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective during emergency response situations and operational upsets.
- Leadership Training Certificate or equivalent leadership development training.
- Previous experience in a senior operator or leadership role.

Responsibilities
Operate and maintain production facilities, well pads, batteries, compressor stations, and storage facilities while monitoring and optimizing well performance, completing inspections and maintenance, and maintaining accurate production records. Respond to operational issues and emergencies, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with and mentor operations personnel.
Requirements
Requires at least 10 years of oil and gas operating experience, in-depth knowledge of production facilities and well performance, and experience with SCADA and Prodman production entry. Candidates must be able to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, respond calmly to emergencies, use Microsoft Office tools, and mentor junior staff; leadership training or senior operator experience is preferred.
