ABOUT WHOLEHEART

Wholeheart is a Toronto-based production and talent management company focused on developing original programming, digital content, and talent-driven brands. We created and produce Breaking Bread with BeardOh, a celebrity dining and interview series featuring guests including Yung Gravy, Steph Tolev, and more.

We're now developing a new digital media project focused on stocks, investing, and financial education, with the goal of making these topics engaging, entertaining, and accessible. Beginning with short-form content, we plan to expand into podcasts, interviews, and longer-form original programming.

POSITION SUMMARY

We're looking for someone starting part-time who lives and breathes social media, has a genuine passion for stocks and investing, and a great sense of humour.

The primary focus of this role will be helping us launch, develop, and grow our new financial education project. You'll contribute to content research, creative development, scriptwriting, social strategy, and audience growth, helping make financial education both informative and entertaining.

You'll also support social media and content initiatives across other Wholeheart projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Help develop and execute social media strategies to grow audiences and engagement.
  • Research stocks, companies, financial news, and investing topics to identify content opportunities.
  • Assist with writing video scripts, social media copy, captions, and creative hooks.
  • Brainstorm educational, entertaining, and humorous content ideas.
  • Manage content calendars, publishing, and community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, Substack, and emerging platforms.
  • Monitor social trends, analyze performance, and recommend opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with our production team on short-form videos, podcasts, interviews, and other original content.
  • Support content and social media initiatives across other Wholeheart productions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Social Media: You genuinely understand social platforms, content trends, audience engagement, and what makes people watch, share, and follow.
  • Stocks & Investing: You enjoy following markets, researching companies, and learning about investing. You don't need to be a financial expert.
  • Sense of Humour: You're creative, appreciate comedy, and can help make financial topics entertaining without sacrificing their educational value.
  • Strong writing, research, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience creating, managing, or growing social accounts, communities, or digital projects.
  • Familiarity with social publishing, analytics, and creative tools.
  • A proactive, curious mindset and enthusiasm for helping build a new media brand.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This position will begin part-time, with the potential to evolve into a full-time role as the new financial media project grows and expands its programming.

HOW TO APPLY

Apply here on LinkedIn or email jobs@wholeheart.co with:

  • Your résumé and a short introduction.
  • Why social media, stocks, investing, and humor interest you.
  • Links or examples of social accounts, campaigns, communities, or digital projects you've helped create, manage, or grow.
  • Examples of video scripts, creative writing, or entertaining content you've developed are also welcome.
