Our Service Division in Calgary is hiring an HVAC Technician who wants more independence, a wider variety of equipment, and a pace of work you can manage. Many of our residential calls are at large custom homes with high-end systems that are as complex as commercial equipment. That makes this a good fit for someone comfortable on both residential and commercial jobs. If you want more say in how you work and a change from high-volume service, this role is for you. Earn $42–$48 per hour, with piecework available on installs. You'll get a work vehicle, a tool program, health and dental benefits, and a matching RRSP. Your work will be judged on quality, not ticket volume or sales quotas.

- Diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and ventilation units
- Do routine maintenance and tune-ups that keep systems efficient and long-lasting
- Troubleshoot system problems and get equipment running at its best
- Explain issues and maintenance recommendations to customers clearly
- Support teammates on service calls when needed
- Coordinate with dispatch and your team so jobs get done efficiently
- Keep accurate service records, including work performed and parts used
- Meet local HVAC codes, safety regulations and industry standards, and follow all safety protocols and company guidelines on site
- Journeyperson certification
- 8–10 years of residential HVAC service experience (commercial service experience is an asset)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Comfort using iPads and texting apps (ServiceTitan experience is an asset)
- Retrofit experience is an asset
- A positive attitude, clear communication and strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail and pride in quality work
- A Class 5 driver's licence and a clean driving record

Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, maintain, and tune furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems, while explaining issues and recommendations to customers. Support teammates, coordinate with dispatch, maintain accurate service records, and follow applicable codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Requirements
Requires journeyperson certification, 8–10 years of residential HVAC service experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Candidates should have a Class 5 driver's licence and clean driving record, communicate well with customers, and be comfortable using iPads and messaging apps; commercial service, retrofit, and ServiceTitan experience are assets.
