A FULL TIME INTERIM INCLUSIVE LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER
For Caroline School in Caroline, Alberta
Applications are invited for a Full Time Inclusive Learning Support Teacher for Caroline School.
Inclusive Learning Support Teachers (ILST) are teachers who are knowledgeable about inclusive education and are skilled at facilitating collaboration and sharing best practices. The Inclusive Learning Support Teachers supports the equity of access to quality programming and resources for all students. The Inclusive Learning Support Teacher works with learning teams to provide students with the opportunity to access learning environments that are the least restrictive and most responsive. The Inclusive Learning Support Teacher must excel at developing and building relationships with staff, students and their families. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience in an elementary setting. Training and or experience programming for students with special needs in grades PreK-6 is required.
Duties to commence September 30, 2026.
Caroline School is a pre-K - 12 school with approximately 380 students located in Caroline,
Alberta, approximately 80 km southwest of Red Deer. Caroline School is a community that is focused on continuous learning and personal growth; one that fosters opportunity and develops citizens with the skills and values to explore and thrive in the world around them.
A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document.
The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
