About The Company
Metergy Solutions Inc. ("Metergy") combines the energy and rapid growth of a startup with the stability of a rock-solid, recession-proof business boasting a 45-year track record. As a technology-driven company, Metergy is committed to driving significant carbon emission reductions, offering a unique, once-in-a-career opportunity. As one of North America’s most experienced submetering providers, Metergy delivers turnkey solutions to clients by supplying, installing, and remotely reading meters that measure individual suite consumption of electricity, water, gas, and thermal energy in multi-residential and commercial buildings. The company also manages billing and collections for commodity costs and administrative charges through an innovative Submetering as a Service (SaaS) model, which supports long-term recurring revenue streams.
About The Role
The Business Intelligence Analyst at Metergy is responsible for managing, developing, and executing the Business Intelligence (BI) and Revenue Assurance Program, overseeing Annual Rate Increases, operations dashboards, reporting, and ensuring overall Gross Margin (GM) integrity. This role requires extracting, cleaning, and analyzing large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with stakeholders to provide deep-dive business intelligence analysis across operational areas including workforce performance, revenue assurance, productivity, cost, and quality drivers. They will provide monthly management insights related to performance opportunities, financial rate and volume variance analysis, and resource allocation. The role also involves understanding regulatory changes and leading organizational projects to implement these changes across all impacted submetering areas.
Additional responsibilities include planning, developing, and approving operational policies and quality management systems for revenue assurance, monitoring daily performance metrics, recommending process improvements, and ensuring controls are in place to support the lead-to-cash process across all billing revenue streams. The Business Intelligence Analyst will champion revenue leakage issues by engaging key stakeholders and staying current on emerging trends and technologies in BI and data analytics.
Qualifications
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
