About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Global Cyber Security team at RBC. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models aimed at proactively identifying and mitigating digital and cyber threats. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating complex technical insights into actionable strategies that safeguard our clients’ data and our digital infrastructure. As part of the Joint Security Operations Centre (JSOC), you will work with large datasets to uncover hidden patterns, anticipate malicious behaviors, and discover emerging threats using state-of-the-art analytics and machine learning techniques. Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.

- Stay abreast of research developments, incorporating new methods, tools, and technologies into existing data products and models.
- Work proactively with business and operational units to design innovative solutions that optimize processes and enable scalable, production-level deployment.
