JOB SUMMARY
The Product Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, delivery, and ongoing improvement of business products and technology-enabled capabilities across business areas. The role partners with business stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and help deliver solutions that create measurable business value.
Acting as a bridge between business teams, technology teams, and external vendors, the Product Manager helps align product work with organizational goals while managing day-to-day priorities and stakeholder expectations for small to medium-sized initiatives
KEY ACCOUNTABILITES
Product Planning and Roadmap Support: Support the development and maintenance of product roadmaps aligned with business objectives across assigned business areas. Help evaluate opportunities, define priorities, clarify product objectives, and track success measures.
Stakeholder Engagement and Business Partnership: Work with business leaders, managers, and subject matter experts to understand operational challenges, gather requirements, support prioritization, and ensure solutions align with agreed business needs. Communicate product updates, decisions, and progress to stakeholders.
Product Delivery and Initiative Coordination: Coordinate the delivery of product enhancements, technology implementations, and business initiatives. Apply project management practices to support delivery within agreed scope, timeline, and quality expectations, escalating risks or issues as needed
Vendor and Partner Coordination: Coordinate with software vendors, implementation partners, and service providers to support delivery activities, service expectations, issue resolution, and ongoing product needs. Provide input into vendor performance and service delivery discussions
Continuous Improvement and Product Optimization: Monitor product performance, user adoption, and business outcomes. Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and user experiences through data-driven recommendations and ongoing product enhancements.
Financial Responsibility: Monitors and reports on project-related CapEx spending, budget performance, and funding forecasts for product roadmap initiatives, identifying potential funding gaps and supporting approval requests as needed. Contributes to invoice reviews, spend validation, and budget planning discussions, while final invoice approval authority remains outside the role unless specifically delegated.
SKILLS
Knowledge and Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Project Management, or related technology/business transformation roles.
Demonstrated experience developing product roadmaps and delivering business-focused technology solutions.
Strong understanding of product management practices, agile methodologies, business process improvement, and stakeholder management.
Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party software solutions.
Preferred certifications: Product Management certification (Pragmatic, AIPMM, Product School, etc.)
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
Agile certifications
PMP considered an asset but not required

Coordinating activities that involve diverse stakeholders, such as community events, fundraising initiatives, or volunteer projects, can strengthen stakeholder management, communication, influence, and teamwork capabilities.

Addressing complex personal, volunteer, or community challenges by identifying issues, assessing alternatives, and implementing solutions can enhance critical thinking and sound judgment.
Self-directed learning and continuous improvement
Pursuing professional growth through workshops, seminars, webinars, books, online courses, or other learning resources related to project management and leadership can help build knowledge of methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Salary range: The target hiring salary range for this position is $78,000 to $98,000. This range is not a guarantee of compensation. Final placement within the range depends on factors such as internal equity, market conditions, and the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
