What You Will Be Doing
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating and optimising mining fleet movements through fleet and work management systems. The role will support safe, efficient and productive mining operations by coordinating haulage activities, monitoring system performance, identifying and responding to operational disruptions in real time, and ensuring fleet movements are managed effectively to maintain site productivity.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control mining fleet activities through the Modular dispatch system.
- Optimise truck allocations to maximise fleet productivity and achieve production targets.
- Coordinate with Mining Operations, Maintenance and Technical Services teams.
- Maintain accurate operational records and shift reports.
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve dispatch efficiency and fleet utilisation.
- Support incident response and recovery activities.
What You Will Need
- Current Drivers Licence (essential)
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude

- Experience in fleet management, dispatch, or production coordination.
- Strong understanding of surface mining and production processes
- Competent in fleet management and dispatch systems including Modular Dispatch, ProVision, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to monitor, analyse, and maintain accurate production and operational data.
- Sound knowledge of mining safety, risk management, and emergency response processes.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build/maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of computer literacy with the ability to learn and effectively use operational systems.
