Workstaff is a fast-growing Montreal-based B2B SaaS company purpose-built for flexible and temporary staffing. Our platform brings scheduling, communications, time-clock management, automated booking, and payroll and invoicing into one place designed to streamline operations, reduce complexity, and help agencies and organizations scale.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our growing sales team and help us expand our customer base across North America. You will own the full sales cycle, from first conversation through close, for mid-market staffing agencies and organizations in our core verticals: Hospitality, Event Services, and F&B/Catering.

This is a consultative sales role. Our buyers are operators who run lean teams and need to trust that Workstaff will genuinely solve their problems. You will go deep on their workflows, identify where the friction is, and demonstrate how Workstaff removes it. You will work closely with the CEO, GTM Engineer, and Customer Success team to move deals and set customers up for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through demo, proposal, negotiation, and close across Canada and the US.
Run consultative discovery calls that go deep on a prospect’s operational challenges and translate them into a clear Workstaff value case.
Deliver tailored product demonstrations via web-conference that speak directly to each prospect’s vertical and workflows.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline of mid-market accounts.
Actively prospect and identify new target accounts alongside the GTM Engineer and inbound marketing motion.
Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene in HubSpot, accurate stages, activity logging, and forecasting.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly ARR quotas.
Collaborate with Customer Success on handoffs to ensure smooth onboarding and strong retention.
Feed product and market insights back to the team, you are closest to the customer.

Qualifications

3–6 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of quota attainment.
Experience running a full sales cycle, you can own a deal from cold to closed without heavy support infrastructure.
Strong consultative selling instincts, you ask better questions than you give pitches.
Comfortable managing a large account set and multiple active opportunities simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills across written, remote, and in-person formats.
Proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRMs you keep your pipeline clean and accurate.
High level of personal organization and accountability; you manage your own time and don’t need to be chased.

Serious Bonus Points

Experience selling workforce management, HR tech, or scheduling software.
Background in or knowledge of Hospitality, Events, Catering.
Experience selling into staffing agencies or temp workforce operators.
Bilingual French/English, a meaningful advantage in our Montreal base and Quebec market.
Proven ability to sell upmarket and navigate longer, more complex sales cycles.
