As a Business Development Representative, your primary focus will be developing new business within an assigned territory. Our portfolio includes multifunction printers, barcode and label printers, wide-format printers, digital signage, laptops, managed print services, document management, workflow automation, accounts payable and receivable automation, print management software, managed IT services, and other Toshiba and third-party technologies.

Why Sales at Toshiba Tec?

Build Your Sales Career – Learn a consultative sales process with training, mentorship, and the support of an established global brand.
Own Your Territory – Develop new business across a variety of industries and build your own portfolio of customers.
Career Growth – Build experience that can lead to opportunities in Solutions Sales, Named Accounts, Major Accounts, senior sales positions, and leadership.

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and win new customers and new logos within your assigned territory.
Generate new business through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic in-person prospecting, including visiting businesses and commercial areas.
Build and grow your own book of business.
Develop a strong understanding of Toshiba's hardware, software, and technology solutions and confidently present them to prospective customers.
Understand customer challenges and recommend solutions that create measurable business value.
Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
Develop long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across hardware and solutions offerings.

Qualifications

Motivated, goal-oriented, and genuinely interested in developing a career in sales and business development.
Comfortable picking up the phone, prospecting, approaching businesses, and starting conversations with new customers.
Coachable, resilient, competitive, and motivated by achieving goals.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Previous experience in sales, business development, retail, customer service, or prospecting is an asset but not required.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle are required.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary plus uncapped commission
$5,400 annual car allowance
Quarterly and biannual bonuses and manufacturer incentives
