Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate Cost Analyst. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities:

Development of monthly cost report and cost forecast.
Set up and administration of monthly incurred cost flow.
Setting of original budget and estimate recast.
Ensure costs are tracked properly with appropriate use of WBS and CBS coding.
Change management coordination.
Administration and maintenance of Ecosys.
Consolidation and development of month end cost and progress reporting.

What you will bring:Technical and Industry Experience:

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in cost management, earned value, cash flows, invoice support, and performance measurement.
Project Controls experience working on engineering projects.
Proficiency in EcoSys® an asset.
Working knowledge of Earned Value Measurement in engineering, procurement & construction.
Cost engineering and estimating knowledge.
Strong knowledge of, and the interrelationship of a good technical project scope definition, quality of the schedule and estimate, construction sequence and execution, procurement and contracting strategies, commissioning and start up.
Capable of developing and maintaining control budget (TIC & Services), and forecast scopes of work.
Full understanding of cross-functional interfaces with engineering, procurement.
Capable of managing impact of change & trends, project KPI’s.
Understanding of financial interface for expenditures, revenue recognition, invoicing, cash flow / cash calls.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and relationship building skills.
Proven review skills, as well as presentation and facilitation skills.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

A university degree or diploma in engineering, business, or technical diploma.
Certification by PMI (PMP) and/or AACE or similar accredited project management institute an asset.
