This is your chance to be part of a team that is shaping the world infrastructure, energy systems, and communities. In this role, you will apply your skills to cutting-edge projects, making a real impact where it matters most.
Based in Sudbury or Thunder Bay, you will contribute as an Intermediate Technician, Design Support within a collaborative civil design team. You will help develop municipal infrastructure - including roads, drainage systems, and utilities - while strengthening your AutoCAD and Civil 3D capabilities alongside experienced engineers and designers.
Your Impact
- Produce civil engineering drawings for municipal roads, drainage systems, utilities, and other infrastructure that supports growing communities.
- Develop and revise AutoCAD and Civil 3D models and drawings using clear engineering direction and applicable design standards.
- Strengthen the accuracy and quality of design deliverables through disciplined drafting, checking, and revision control.
- Maintain organized drawing packages and project documentation so teams can work efficiently throughout the design process.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to incorporate technical feedback, resolve drafting issues, and refine practical design solutions.
- Contribute quantity take-offs and foundational design support that help projects move from concept toward delivery.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field that supports municipal infrastructure design.
- Drafting or design-support experience involving municipal infrastructure, civil works, or a comparable consulting environment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D for preparing and revising accurate design models and drawing packages.
- Familiarity with civil design fundamentals such as grading, municipal servicing, drainage, utilities, and roadworks.
- Ability to interpret engineering direction, apply relevant municipal standards, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Capability to collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, communicate design questions clearly, and incorporate technical feedback into deliverables.

Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $29.50 - $39.10 per hour
- MB & ON: $26.90 - $37.10 per hour
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $26.60 - $35.40 per hour
