You’ll have opportunities to strengthen your project delivery skills, contribute to proposals, support emerging professionals, and help create environmentally responsible, socially conscious design solutions.

Our portfolio spans urban revitalization, master planning, parks, public spaces and plazas, complete streets, multi-use trails, transit facilities, infrastructure, commercial and institutional developments, land development, and ecologically based landscapes.

Your Impact

  • Develop thoughtful landscape and urban design solutions from early concepts through detailed design, construction documentation, and contract administration.
  • Create site plans, planting designs, grading plans, details, and drawing packages that balance design quality with technical performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and Landscape Architecture colleagues across Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna, Vancouver, Victoria, and Winnipeg.
  • Contribute to proposals and business development activities that help grow our Landscape Architecture & Urban Design practice.
  • Coordinate with clients, colleagues, stakeholders, and members of the public to clearly communicate design concepts and project requirements.
  • Support project management activities while building your understanding of project scope, schedules, and financial performance.
  • Conduct field reviews and support projects during construction to help translate design intent into successful built outcomes.
  • Share your experience with early-career professionals while continuing to expand your own technical and professional capabilities.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Education in Landscape Architecture or a related design discipline, including applicable diploma programs; Full Membership in Good Standing with the AALA is an asset.
  • 5–7+ years of professional Landscape Architecture experience, with demonstrated involvement in projects from concept through construction.
  • Strong technical capability with CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other design and administrative software.
  • Experience preparing design development and construction documentation, including site design, planting design, grading and detailing.
  • Experience conducting field reviews and observing projects during construction.
  • Strong understanding of the technical execution and coordination of detailed drawing sets across professional disciplines.
  • Experience supporting proposals, project management, client engagement, and business development; experience with Civil 3D, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, Rhino or GIS is an asset.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle; ISA Certification and credentials related to accessible design or environmental stewardship are additional assets.
