Shape Something Different
You're not just looking for another job – you want to shape something. This is your chance to make an impact as a Junior Engineer (EIT), Infrastructure Planning with a team that thrives on curiosity, connection, and collaboration.
You'll support a diverse portfolio of municipal master plans, servicing studies, infrastructure needs assessments, capital plans, and Municipal Class Environmental Assessments across Ontario and Canada. Working alongside project managers and senior engineers, you'll first build strong project coordination and delivery capabilities, then progressively develop technical expertise in infrastructure planning, hydraulic modelling, and municipal servicing.
Your Impact
- Deliver coordinated project support by tracking schedules, actions, deliverables, performance, invoicing, and project records in line with WSP's project delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with clients, municipal staff, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to organize meetings, workshops, stakeholder sessions, and follow-up actions.
- Contribute to municipal infrastructure planning through servicing assessments, demand forecasting, capacity analysis, growth studies, capital programs, and Environmental Assessment documentation.
- Produce clear reports, technical memoranda, proposals, and supporting materials while checking deliverables against scopes, client requirements, procurement documents, and quality standards.
- Develop water, wastewater, and stormwater analysis skills using GIS, municipal asset information, engineering datasets, and hydraulic and hydrologic modelling tools.
- Turn project data into planning insight.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- A bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline, with Engineer-in-Training registration or eligibility for registration with Professional Engineers Ontario.
- Relevant experience in project management, municipal engineering, infrastructure planning, or consulting, with the ability to coordinate multiple assignments and priorities.
- Exposure to municipal servicing studies, infrastructure demand forecasting, capacity assessments, growth planning, or Municipal Class Environmental Assessments is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with GIS applications, Oracle, or AI-enabled productivity tools is an asset.
- Exposure to WaterGEMS, InfoWater Pro, InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEMS, or PCSWMM for water distribution, wastewater collection, or stormwater modelling is an asset.
- Clear technical communication and quality-focused review skills for reports, meeting records, project controls, financial tracking, proposals, and client deliverables; progress toward Project Management Professional certification is an asset.

Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500
- MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200
- NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
