You will support major pursuit teams for multiple defence‑sector RFPs - helping secure, shape, and deliver the next generation of national infrastructure. This role blends technical excellence, leadership, expertise in alternative delivery (P3/DB), and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams toward innovative, constructible, compliant solutions. This position can be based out of any WSP office in Canada.

Your Impact

Lead or contribute to electrical designs for large, complex, multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects, including P3 and design‑build delivery.
Serve as a Key Individual on defence and infrastructure pursuits, supporting experience narratives, compliance documentation, and technical bid inputs.
Deliver advanced engineering solutions for building electrical and electronic systems, including:
Provide strategic technical leadership across pursuit and delivery teams on major national programs.
Support engineering for Arctic and remote environments, applying design strategies for climate, logistics, constructability, and reliability challenges.
Guide and mentor junior and intermediate team members, enabling them to confidently tackle complex design problems.
Conduct quality reviews to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client/sector‑specific requirements - particularly defence‑related specifications.

The Skills That Set You Apart

P.Eng. (or eligible to transfer) in a Canadian jurisdiction.
Demonstrated success delivering major, complex infrastructure projects (defence, transportation, industrial, institutional, or utility‑scale).
Proven experience in P3, Design‑Build, and alternative delivery - with strong understanding of their technical and commercial requirements.
Ability to meet eligibility criteria for security clearance required for defence programs.
Advanced expertise in large‑scale electrical systems design and integration.
Previous experience supporting projects in the Arctic is necessary
Strength in producing compliant, technically robust submissions for complex RFPs

À titre d’ingénieur·e principal·e en électricité – Projets Arctique, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la réalisation de projets d’envergure dans les secteurs de la défense, institutionnel, industriel ainsi que dans les environnements arctiques et éloignés. Vous appuierez des équipes de poursuite majeures dans le cadre de multiples appels d’offres du secteur de la défense, contribuant à obtenir, structurer et livrer la prochaine génération d’infrastructures nationales.

Ce rôle combine excellence technique, leadership, expertise en modes de réalisation alternatifs (PPP / conception‑construction) et capacité à guider des équipes multidisciplinaires vers des solutions innovantes, constructibles et conformes.

Ce poste peut être basé dans n’importe quel bureau de WSP au Canada.

Votre impact

Diriger ou contribuer à la conception électrique de projets d’infrastructure majeurs, complexes et multidisciplinaires, incluant des projets en mode PPP et conception‑construction.
Agir à titre de personne clé dans les démarches de poursuite en défense et en infrastructure, en soutenant les descriptions d’expérience, la documentation de conformité et les contributions techniques aux soumissions.
Concevoir et intégrer des systèmes électriques et électroniques de bâtiments à grande échelle, notamment la distribution électrique basse tension, l’alimentation d’urgence et les systèmes UPS.
Développer des solutions pour la protection contre la foudre, la mise à la terre, la détection incendie, les systèmes d’alarme vocale, de télécommunications, de sécurité, d’éclairage et de contrôle d’éclairage.
Fournir un leadership technique stratégique aux équipes de poursuite et de réalisation dans le cadre de grands programmes nationaux.
Soutenir la conception de projets en milieu arctique et en régions éloignées en tenant compte des défis climatiques, logistiques, de constructabilité et de fiabilité.
Encadrer et mentorer les membres d’équipe juniors et intermédiaires afin de développer leurs compétences et leur confiance dans la résolution de problèmes complexes.
Effectuer des revues de qualité afin d’assurer la conformité aux codes, normes et exigences propres aux clients et aux secteurs, notamment les spécifications liées à la défense.

Les compétences qui vous distinguent

Titre d’ingénieur·e (P.Eng.) ou admissibilité au transfert dans une province ou un territoire canadien.
Expérience démontrée dans la réalisation de projets d’infrastructure majeurs et complexes (défense, transport, industriel, institutionnel ou services publics à grande échelle).
Expérience éprouvée en PPP, conception‑construction et autres modes de réalisation alternatifs, avec une solide compréhension des exigences techniques et commerciales.
Admissibilité à l’obtention d’une cote de sécurité requise pour les programmes de défense.
Expertise avancée en conception et intégration de systèmes électriques à grande échelle.
Expérience préalable requise sur des projets réalisés dans l’Arctique ou en régions éloignées.
Capacité reconnue à produire des soumissions conformes et techniquement robustes pour des appels d’offres complexes.
