The Opportunity

Build the Future With Us

Lead the delivery of secure, complex infrastructure that supports Canada's defence and federal operations. Your Impact

  • Lead defence and federal infrastructure projects from planning and procurement through design, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Establish project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, governance, and risk controls that support reliable delivery.
  • Direct multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, security, and specialty consulting teams while maintaining accountability for scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk.
  • Partner with clients, Defence Construction Canada (DCC), contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders to align decisions and resolve delivery challenges.
  • Deliver projects through Design-Build, Design-Build-Finance, Construction Management, Alliance, P3, and Design-Bid-Build models.
  • Oversee security, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and health and safety requirements for defence and controlled-access facilities.
  • Strengthen client relationships and contribute to account planning, pursuits, proposals, and repeat business in the defence and federal sectors.
  • Mentor project managers, project controls professionals, engineers, and junior staff while fostering an inclusive, high-performing project culture.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline; a professional designation such as P.Eng. or PMP is an asset.
  • 7+ years of progressive project delivery experience, including significant experience with defence, federal, or similarly complex infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with maritime/shipyard projects is required
  • Proven experience managing complex capital projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with Defence Construction Canada (DCC), federal clients, or comparable public-sector organizations, including procurement, contracting, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with alternative project delivery models such as Design-Build, P3, Construction Management, or Alliance contracts.
  • Strong commercial, client, and stakeholder management capabilities, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required federal security clearance is mandatory; bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
