The Opportunity
Build the Future with Us
As our Collaborative Partnering practice grows, we're looking for an organized and proactive operations professional to bring greater structure, visibility, and consistency to how we win, plan, track, and manage our work. The role does not have a fully defined roadmap: you’ll work alongside the team to shape how the practice operates, strengthen how we report on, structure, and track our operations, and help us grow without losing our collaborative and supportive culture.
Your Impact
- Maintain visibility across the Collaborative Partnering pipeline and portfolio, from pursuit through delivery, including commitments, workload, resource demand, performance, delivery risks, and progress against key objectives and KPIs.
- Work alongside team leadership and project leads to develop practical reporting, tools, and processes for resource planning, capacity forecasting, portfolio prioritization, and decision-making.
- Use Oracle and other business systems to coordinate, analyze, and communicate operational and project performance data.
- Support consistent approaches to portfolio management, project controls, auditing, reporting, and operational planning as the practice's operating model evolves.
- Use lessons learned, team feedback, and operational data to identify opportunities and translate good ideas into practical improvements.
- Provide guidance and people management support to project coordinators to strengthen operational capability across the team.
- Experience in operations, portfolio management, project controls, practice management, or project delivery within a professional services, consulting, infrastructure, or other project-based environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to bring structure to complexity.
- Confidence working with data, reporting, and enterprise systems such as Oracle - or the ability to quickly develop proficiency - to translate information into meaningful insight.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work alongside and constructively challenge project leaders, team members, and leadership.
- A collaborative and pragmatic mindset, with the curiosity and initiative to build practical solutions in an evolving environment.
We exist to shape communities to advance humanity. The brightest engineers, advisors and scientists from across the globe call WSP home.
- Proudly Canadian – we are a Top 100 Employer in Canada for 2026.
- A global community of brilliant minds – your next idea, mentor, or opportunity is always within reach.
- Limitless opportunities start here. Whether it’s across the country or around the globe, we help you tailor your role to match your ambition - because your growth drives ours.
- Flexible work, real balance – we recognize the importance of balance in our lives and encourage you to prioritize the balance in yours.
