Review and seal electrical design for permit and construction.
Review and seal lighting and lighting control designs for permit and construction.
Contribute to client and stakeholder meetings, representing WSP’s technical expertise and values under the guidance of senior engineers.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and EITs in the development of drawings, calculations, and technical deliverables.

Perform individually and as a team member within the electrical discipline.

The Skills That Set You Apart

Strong working knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including OBC, OESC, CEC, CSA, NFPA, IEEE, ASHRAE, and IESNA.
Experience performing electrical studies such as load, short circuit, coordination, arc flash, lighting, and grounding analyses.
Familiarity with transportation standards, including GO Metrolinx DRM (Design Reference Manual), DMCA, and TTC design manual and specifications.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Understanding of project management technical requirements, including schedules and resourcing; a Master’s degree or PMP certification is considered an asset.
