Design What Comes Next
This is your opportunity to launch your engineering career while contributing to some of Canada's most important transit and rail infrastructure projects. Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you'll gain hands-on exposure to planning, design, analysis, and project delivery while helping create sustainable transportation solutions that connect communities and move people safely and efficiently.
Your Impact
- Support the design and delivery of transit and rail engineering projects across a variety of transportation programs.
- Assist with engineering calculations, technical analyses, and preparation of design documentation.
- Contribute to drawings, reports, specifications, and project deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in multidisciplinary project teams to help develop innovative and sustainable transportation solutions.
- Assist with field investigations, site visits, inspections, and data collection activities when required.
- Support project coordination activities, including documentation management and progress tracking.
- Apply engineering principles and emerging technologies to help improve transit and rail infrastructure performance.
- Learn from industry experts while building technical, project management, and professional consulting skills.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program, preferably Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Rail Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in transit systems, rail infrastructure, and sustainable transportation solutions.
- Familiarity with engineering design principles and relevant software applications such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and project requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
- Willingness to participate in field assignments and site visits as required.
- Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, quality, and continuous learning.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $24.00 – $32.25
MB & ON: $22.50 – $30.25
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $21.50 – $30.25
