Job Overview
Xana International is hiring a Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations on a hotel renovation project in Thompson, Manitoba.
You’ll coordinate trades, keep the schedule on track, maintain site safety, and ensure the work meets project requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily site operations and coordinate trades.
- Ensure work follows project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities.
- Keep the job site safe, clean, and organized.
- Track project progress and communicate updates to management.
- Identify and resolve site issues efficiently.
- Maintain daily site records, including progress, manpower, deliveries, and photos.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role.
- Strong renovation and construction experience.
- Hospitality renovation experience is an asset, especially working on hotels while guests remain on the property.
- Fall Protection and WHMIS certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
- Ability to work on-site in Thompson for the duration of the project.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and priorities.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety and procedures.
- Valid driver’s licence.
