XNRGY Climate Solutions is a leading North American provider of sustainable design and manufacturing of custom air handling and liquid cooling systems. With decades of HVAC engineering experience, XNRGY delivers innovative and energy-efficient solutions for hyperscale data centers, healthcare, clean rooms, EV battery plants, and life sciences facilities. The company operates two manufacturing hubs: Montreal, Canada and Mesa, Arizona.

As part of its continued growth, XNRGY is seeking a Buyer to join its St-Hubert team.

Position Overview

The Buyer is responsible for procurement activities across assigned categories and plays a key role in supporting manufacturing operations. The Buyer works with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the availability of required materials and services while identifying opportunities to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.

In this role, you will participate in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management activities while ensuring effective day-to-day purchasing execution. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes within a fast-paced and growing manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Purchase Orders: Manage purchasing activities for assigned categories, from purchase order creation through delivery follow-up, ensuring accuracy of quantities, pricing, and timelines.
Strategic Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers and sourcing options to meet business requirements for cost, quality, and availability.
Negotiation & Cost Management: Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers while identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
Contract Management: Participate in the negotiation, review, and follow-up of supplier agreements in accordance with company policies.
Procurement Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
Inventory & Supply Support: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure material availability and maintain appropriate inventory levels to support production.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience managing purchase orders, supplier follow-up, and material procurement.
Experience negotiating with suppliers and identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
Experience with an ERP/MRP system; EPICOR experience is an asset.
Fluency in both French and English, written and verbal, to communicate with local and international suppliers and stakeholders outside Quebec.

L’Acheteur est responsable des activités d’approvisionnement pour les catégories qui lui sont assignées et joue un rôle clé dans le soutien des opérations manufacturières. Il travaille avec les fournisseurs et les équipes internes afin d’assurer la disponibilité des matériaux et services requis, tout en recherchant des occasions d’optimiser les coûts, la qualité et les délais de livraison.

Dans ce rôle, vous participerez aux activités de sourcing, de négociation et de gestion des fournisseurs, tout en assurant l’exécution efficace des achats au quotidien. Vous contribuerez également à l’amélioration continue des processus d’approvisionnement dans un environnement manufacturier dynamique et en croissance.

Responsabilités principales

Achats et bons de commande : Gérer les achats pour les catégories assignées, de l’émission des bons de commande jusqu’au suivi des livraisons, en assurant l’exactitude des quantités, prix et échéanciers.

Sourcing stratégique : Identifier et évaluer les fournisseurs et les options d’approvisionnement afin de répondre aux besoins de l’entreprise en matière de coût, qualité et disponibilité.

Négociation et gestion des coûts : Négocier les prix, conditions commerciales et délais de livraison avec les fournisseurs, tout en identifiant des occasions de réduction des coûts.

Gestion des contrats : Participer à la négociation, à la révision et au suivi des ententes fournisseurs conformément aux politiques de l’entreprise.

Amélioration des processus d’approvisionnement : Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des processus, outils et pratiques d’approvisionnement afin d’accroître l’efficacité et la fiabilité.

Gestion des stocks et de l’approvisionnement : Collaborer avec les équipes internes afin d’assurer la disponibilité des matériaux et de maintenir des niveaux de stocks appropriés pour soutenir la production.

Exigences

Diplôme collégial (DEC) en gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, approvisionnement, logistique, administration ou dans un domaine connexe.

3 ans et plus d’expérience en achats ou en approvisionnement dans un environnement manufacturier ou industriel.

Expérience en gestion de bons de commande, suivi des fournisseurs et approvisionnement de matériaux.

Expérience en négociation avec des fournisseurs et en identification d’occasions de réduction des coûts.

Expérience avec un système ERP/MRP; connaissance d’EPICOR, un atout.

Bilinguisme français et anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit, afin de communiquer avec des fournisseurs locaux et internationaux ainsi qu’avec des parties prenantes à l’extérieur du Québec.
