We deliver innovative, energy-efficient solutions for industries such as hyperscale data centers, healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical labs, semiconductor clean rooms, EV battery manufacturers, and life sciences facilities.

XNRGY is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to serve as a core member of the finance leadership team's analytical engine. Reporting to the SVP, FP&A, this individual will play a key role in the Company's annual operating plan, financial planning and forecasting, long-term cash forecasting, capital planning and returns analysis.

This is a high-visibility role with significant exposure to senior leadership. It is ideally suited to a driven analyst who combines technical modeling excellence with sound business judgment and the ability to translate complex financial dynamics into clear, decision-ready insight. Given XNRGY's growth trajectory and capital intensity, the successful candidate will have an outsized impact on how the Company plans, funds, and measures its expansion.

The ideal candidate is an analytically exceptional, business-minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, capital-intensive, and rapidly scaling environment. They combine deep technical modelling skills with the maturity and communication ability to work directly in support of senior leadership.

An overview of your responsibilities!

Annual Operating Plan & Budgeting: Manage the annual operating plan and multi-department budgeting process, including headcount planning, departmental cost drivers, forecasting, and budget-versus-actual analysis.
Financial Planning: Build and maintain financial forecasts, analyze performance and variances, and identify the key financial and operational drivers behind results.
Long-Term Cash Forecasting: Build and continuously improve the Company's long-term cash forecasts, modeling scenarios and sensitivities to provide leadership with visibility into liquidity risks and opportunities.
Capital Planning & Returns Analysis: Analyze capital expenditure requests and investment opportunities, including business cases and return frameworks such as NPV, IRR, ROIC, and payback.
Working Capital: Analyze and forecast working capital requirements, with particular focus on inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable in a high-growth manufacturing environment.
Leadership Support: Prepare financial analysis, reporting, presentation materials, and decision-ready insights for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
Reporting & Analytics: Leverage ERP data, Excel, analytical tools, and AI to improve financial models, reporting, forecasting, data preparation, and recurring analytical processes.

What you'll need, among other things!

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent a plus.
Experience: Five (5) or more years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, transaction, or investment experience, ideally including exposure to an industrial, manufacturing, or capital-intensive business.
Cash & capital expertise: Demonstrated command of cash flow forecasting, capital expenditure analysis, and returns / capital allocation frameworks (NPV, IRR, ROIC, payback).
Budgeting: Experience coordinating a multi-department annual budget process, ideally across more than one site or entity, including headcount planning and departmental cost driver analysis.
Working capital: Strong understanding of working capital dynamics in a growing manufacturing or product business.
Leadership Support: Experience preparing materials for or supporting communication with a Board of Directors, private-equity sponsor, or lenders is strongly preferred.
Modeling: Expert-level financial modelling and Excel skills, with the ability to build clear, robust, and well-controlled models from the ground up.
Systems: Experience with an ERP environment (EPICOR preferred) and comfort working with large, imperfect data sets.
Technical / query skills: Comfort querying source data directly is ideal - SQL preferred, Python an advantage - enabling this analyst to build and validate reporting independently rather than waiting on extracts. Finance judgment comes first; these skills distinguish strong candidates rather than replacing analytical depth.
AI fluency: Demonstrated practical use of AI tools to accelerate analytical work - automating recurring analysis, speeding data preparation and reconciliation, and producing faster first drafts of models, documentation, and commentary - together with the judgment to verify output and recognize where it should not be relied upon.

Plan d’exploitation annuel et budgétisation : Gérer le processus du plan d’exploitation annuel et de budgétisation de plusieurs fonctions, notamment la planification des effectifs, l’analyse des principaux inducteurs de coûts par fonction, les prévisions et l’analyse des écarts entre les résultats réels et le budget.

Prévisions de trésorerie à long terme : Élaborer et améliorer continuellement les prévisions de trésorerie à long terme de l’entreprise, en modélisant différents scénarios et analyses de sensibilité afin de donner à la direction une meilleure visibilité sur les risques et les occasions liés à la liquidité.

Planification des investissements et analyse du rendement : Analyser les demandes d’investissements et les occasions d’investissement, notamment les analyses de rentabilité et les critères de rendement tels que la VAN, le TRI, le rendement du capital investi et la période de récupération.

Fonds de roulement : Analyser et prévoir les besoins en fonds de roulement, en portant une attention particulière aux stocks, aux comptes clients et aux comptes fournisseurs dans un environnement manufacturier en forte croissance.

Soutien à la direction : Préparer des analyses financières, des rapports, des présentations et des recommandations claires et utiles à la prise de décision pour la haute direction et le conseil d’administration.

Rapports et analytique : Exploiter les données provenant des systèmes ERP, Excel, des outils analytiques et de l’intelligence artificielle afin d’améliorer les modèles financiers, les rapports, les prévisions, la préparation des données et les processus analytiques récurrents.

Qualifications

Formation: Baccalauréat en finance, en comptabilité, en économie ou dans un domaine connexe requis; MBA, CPA, CFA ou équivalent, un atout.

Expérience: Cinq (5) années ou plus d’expérience progressive en FP&A, en finance d’entreprise, en transactions ou en investissement, idéalement dans un environnement industriel, manufacturier ou à forte intensité de capital.

Expertise en trésorerie et en investissements: Maîtrise des prévisions de flux de trésorerie, de l’analyse des dépenses en immobilisations et des méthodes d’évaluation du rendement et d’allocation du capital, notamment la VAN, le TRI, le rendement du capital investi et la période de récupération.

Budgétisation: Expérience dans la coordination d’un processus budgétaire annuel couvrant plusieurs fonctions, idéalement dans plus d’un site ou d’une entité, incluant la planification des effectifs et l’analyse des principaux inducteurs de coûts.

Fonds de roulement: Solide compréhension des dynamiques du fonds de roulement dans une entreprise manufacturière ou de produits en croissance.

Soutien à la direction: Expérience dans la préparation de documents ou le soutien aux communications destinées à un conseil d’administration, à un fonds de capital-investissement ou à des prêteurs, fortement souhaitée.

Maîtrise des outils d’IA: Expérience pratique dans l’utilisation d’outils d’intelligence artificielle pour accélérer le travail analytique, automatiser les analyses récurrentes, faciliter la préparation et le rapprochement des données et produire plus rapidement des premières versions de modèles, de documents et de commentaires, tout en faisant preuve de jugement pour valider les résultats et reconnaître les situations où l’IA ne doit pas être utilisée comme source de référence.
