We are seeking a skilled User Equipment (UE) Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying and validating GNSS receivers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the UE Verification Engineer will develop and execute testing protocols, verification and certification procedures for Pulsar-capable GNSS receivers, analyze results, and contribute to product improvements.

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute test plans for GNSS hardware verification and certification.
Develop test cases and scenarios to evaluate performance of receivers under various conditions and to satisfy different market segment requirements.
Expand existing test requirements into automated, repeatable workflows.
Design functional and robustness test procedures for positioning, timing, interference, resilience, and environmental impacts.
Analyze test data and generate detailed verification reports on findings including receiver performance metrics and compliance with specifications.
Support field testing and validation efforts as needed.
Standardize data capture, storage, traceability, and reporting.
Implement test workflow improvements for coverage, repeatability, and QA/QC.
Stay updated on GNSS technologies, standards, and industry trends to inform testing strategies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geomatics, Electrical, Systems, or related engineering.
3+ years of experience with hardware and firmware testing and verification, preferably in GNSS.
Experience with different classes of GNSS receivers, RF hardware testing, timing systems, or related space systems.
Strong proficiency in testing methodologies and tools, preferably in GNSS verification.
Demonstrated systems engineering experience with requirements, traceability, and V&V.
Strong skills and demonstrated experience in Python-based scripting and automation in Linux and Windows environments, with working knowledge of networking concepts, troubleshooting, and other related tools and concepts.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with usage of GNSS simulation tools and equipment.
Experience interfacing with GNSS receivers and familiarity with GNSS data formats and protocols (NMEA, RTCM, RINEX, SP3, proprietary).
Experience with high-precision timing tests.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and structured software engineering practices.
GNSS or navigation signal processing knowledge (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou).

For U.K. Roles: To comply with U.K. regulations, this role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks, and successful candidates must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).

Qualifications Requises

Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en géomatique, génie électrique, génie des systèmes ou domaine connexe.
Plus de 3 ans d'expérience en tests et vérification de matériel et de micrologiciel, de préférence dans le domaine GNSS.
Expérience avec différentes classes et marques de récepteurs GNSS, les tests de matériel RF, les systèmes de synchronisation ou les systèmes spatiaux connexes.
Excellente maîtrise des méthodologies et outils de test, de préférence en vérification GNSS.
Expérience avérée en ingénierie des systèmes, notamment en matière d'exigences, de traçabilité et de vérification et validation.
Solides compétences et expériences en matière de scripting et d'automatisation basés sur Python dans les environnements Linux et Windows, avec une connaissance pratique des concepts de réseau, du dépannage et d'autres outils et concepts connexes.
