About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Client Services Sr Account Specialist to join our team in Toronto. In this role, you will partner with the Sales & Client Services teams to manage and grow key accounts and collaborate with internal partners to provide strategic recommendations, data-driven insights, and exceptional client service. You will also work independently to help identify performance, revenue, and new feature opportunities that foster long-term success for your clients. Your expertise in the Yahoo DSP empowers you to offer optimization guidance, provide training to clients, and contribute to enhancing the platform.

Your professional demeanor and developed interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with external clients and drive cross-functional cooperation with internal teams. You can comfortably manage multiple complex projects, accounts, and stakeholder requests - whether they call for organizational skills, prioritization, statistical analysis, or business acumen. Responsibilities:

Serve as advertiser point-of-contact for all campaign-related inquiries from start to finish of the campaign lifecycle by owning tasks and leveraging support teams.
Lead a portfolio of accounts, operating as a “small business owner” to grow clients’ business.
Become an expert on the Yahoo DSP and demonstrate proficiency across the Yahoo product and feature suite, including but not limited to Programmatic Display, Advanced TV, Native, DOOH, OLV, Commerce Media, and other emerging channels.
Collaborate effectively with Sales, Associate Client Services & other job functions to develop and grow existing accounts and achieve client goals and objectives.
Develop and cultivate relationships with brand and agency clients as a consultant to their business.
Monitor and influence campaign delivery and performance, troubleshoot and escalate delivery and performance issues, and provide optimization and up-selling opportunities for campaigns.
Develop and provide Strategic Insights, Campaign Wrap-ups, and/or Quarterly Business Reviews to client(s).
Own the training plan for new clients as well as continued training for existing clients.
Represent client needs by providing feedback to Product Solutions to identify and define features, integrations, and product improvements.
Able to lead and be proactive, not just manage tasks; think multiple steps ahead to move an account forward.
Leverage AI tools (such as Claude) to analyze DSP performance reporting, synthesize campaign data, and uncover actionable optimization insights for client accounts.
Utilize AI-assisted workflows to draft client presentation decks (including QBRs and campaign wrap-ups) and organize follow-up tracking for incremental client pitches.
Identify opportunities to replace manual administrative tasks with automated or AI-enabled workflows, continually improving daily operational efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

2-4 years of digital advertising, account management, sales planning, or client services experience.
Demonstrated experience managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns against performance benchmarks (ROI, CPA, CTR, ROAS).
Strong data literacy and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
Practical experience or demonstrated familiarity using generative AI / LLM tools (e.g., Claude) to analyze reporting data, draft client-facing communications, and organize workflows.
Strong critical judgment to validate and refine AI-generated outputs for factual accuracy, brand alignment, and strategic relevance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting campaign insights to agency or direct brand stakeholders.
Strong organizational and prioritization abilities with a track record of balancing multiple concurrent client requests.
Direct hands-on experience working within Demand Side Platforms (Yahoo DSP or comparable programmatic buying platforms).
Experience in consultative vendor/client relationships within the Canadian media and advertising landscape.
