Summary Of Responsibilities

Manage all Network Development activities to continually enhance the performance, professionalism, and market coverage of the Yamaha Dealer Network, driving maximum wholesale and retail performance, growth, and profitability across all dealership types and product groups (Marine and Motorsports). Act as the primary liaison between the Field Organization, dealerships, prospective investors, legal, and other key internal stakeholders. This role personally conducts the underlying data analysis, statistical modeling, and reporting that drive these decisions, in addition to managing network strategy, dealer lifecycle governance, and executive reporting. Strong, hands-on analytical capability is required to execute this role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Market Coverage & Network Analytics

Produce market studies and analytics to identify coverage opportunities, competitive positioning, service capacity, and PMA definitions. Personally collect, analyze, and model data, including scenario planning and heat-mapping, to support network representation and revenue decisions

Policies & Procedures

Manage the process for non-renewals, buy/sell transactions, succession planning, and new open points, approvals, and legal requirements.

Dealer Performance & Sentiment

Monitor dealer performance against PMA targets across the network, flag performance improvement opportunities, and prepare non-renewal groundwork for review by Sr. Manager, Network Development and the RSM. Administer the annual dealer sentiment survey, from questionnaire design through results compilation, and present findings to the Executive Committee.

Network Steering Committee (NSC) & Executive Reporting

Prepare and present monthly NSC materials (buy/sell applications, open points, non-renewal proposals, KPI and financial health reporting) and build supporting analysis.

Documentation & Governance

Maintain accurate dealer files in Salesforce, including agreements, addendums, contact reports, and financials.

Profitability

Drive incremental dealer and YMCA revenue, including new or enhanced revenue streams.

Digital Transformation & Systems (DMS/NOVA)

Lead DX initiatives including DMS integration and network performance tools. Serve as the primary liaison and subject matter expert for the NOVA platform and its vendor, ensuring outputs align with PMA, INP, and network performance goals.

Dealer Recognition Programs (P360 & Elite)

Own the P360 and Elite programs, including scoring, communications, the annual program review, and the timely rollout of approved changes.

Visual Identity (VI) & Brand Compliance

Own dealer VI compliance and rollout for interior and exterior requirements, in coordination with Marketing, which retains ownership of design and brand standards.

Experience Requirements

Degree/Diploma: Post-Secondary, University preferred
Program of Study: Business Administration, Sales, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related analytical field
Years of Experience: Minimum 5-7 years progressive experience
Type of Experience: Sales & Marketing, Network Development, or Dealer Relations, with hands-on experience in BI tools, statistical modeling, and reporting

Skills And Abilities

Strong organizational and project management skills.
Advanced written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of retail business processes, Canadian market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Advanced analytical mindset with hands-on proficiency in statistical modeling, scenario planning, and BI tools (Tableau, Business Objects, Salesforce, advanced Excel), sufficient to independently produce insights and recommendations from data.
Financial acumen and familiarity with financial statements and dealer financial health.
Understanding of dealership operations, dealer relations, and legal contract structures and compliance.

Travel And Overtime Requirements

Occasional national travel within Canada.
Occasional international travel.
Some overtime may be required for month and year end processes.

Expected salary: $95,000 - $105,000/per annum
