Role Description The Analyst role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Analyst will support real estate investment and asset management activities by collecting, organizing, and analyzing property, market, and financial data. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models, preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership, and assisting with lease analysis, tenant performance tracking, and portfolio metrics. The role will also contribute to market research, benchmarking comparable properties, and monitoring key economic indicators impacting the portfolio. The Analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support strategic decision-making and ensure accurate, timely information for investment and operational initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and cash-flow analysis using Excel or similar tools.
• Experience or education in real estate, finance, economics, business, or a related field, with understanding of commercial property fundamentals.
• Ability to conduct market and tenant research, interpret data, and synthesize findings into clear insights and recommendations.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and lease or deal summaries.
• High attention to detail, accuracy in handling data, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfort working with property management, leasing, and accounting data systems; experience with real estate or ERP software is an asset.
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a small, entrepreneurial team environment.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant discipline; progress toward a professional designation (e.g., CFA, CPA, real estate certification) is considered an advantage.
