Company Description YFK Office Lease is a privately held real estate ownership and investment firm dedicated to long-term asset stewardship and stable value creation. Role Description The CRE Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This position oversees office lease and commercial real estate projects from planning through completion, including coordinating design, construction, and tenant improvements in occupied and new spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project schedules and budgets, tracking milestones, expediting materials and approvals, and aligning contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The role involves conducting on-site inspections, monitoring quality and safety, and ensuring compliance with lease requirements, building codes, and company standards. The CRE Project Manager also prepares progress reports, maintains project documentation, and supports ongoing communication with tenants and property management to minimize disruption and deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

Strong project management skills, including Project Management for commercial real estate initiatives and the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
Experience with Expediting and Expeditor responsibilities, ensuring timely approvals, material deliveries, and coordination among contractors and vendors.
Proficiency in Inspection activities, including on-site review of construction work, quality control, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Knowledge of Logistics Management related to construction and fit-out projects, including scheduling trades, managing resource allocation, and optimizing workflows.
Relevant education such as a diploma or degree in construction management, real estate, engineering, or a related field.
Experience in commercial real estate or office lease projects, preferably in the Greater Toronto Area or similar markets.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and lease documents.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants, contractors, and internal teams.
Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, and document management tools).
Demonstrated ability to work on-site, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and uphold high standards of professionalism and integrity.
