Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium and Java to join our quality assurance team in Scarborough, Ontario. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.

The candidate should have a proven track record of supporting existing automation frameworks, improving test automation efficiency, and collaborating with development and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Build, enhance, and support existing test automation frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation frameworks, test coverage, reusability, and execution efficiency.
• Develop and execute automated test cases for functional and regression testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain and update automation scripts to accommodate application changes and new requirements.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting activities.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and ensure the stability and reliability of automated test suites.
• Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in software test automation.
• Hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in Java as the primary programming language.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Proven experience enhancing, troubleshooting, and supporting existing automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of automated functional and regression testing.
• Good analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
