Position Name – Azure Observability & Monitoring Engineer
Type of hiring – Fulltime/Subcon
Location – Downtown Toronto, ON
Work Model – Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)
Job Description:
Exp – 5-8 Years
- Strong experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for Azure infrastructure and Databricks data pipelines.
- Expertise in Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, KQL, and Terraform.
- Develop centralized monitoring dashboards, alert rules, and automated job-failure notifications.
- Experience integrating monitoring solutions with ServiceNow for automated incident creation.
- Build reusable Terraform modules and Python scripts for observability automation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, REST APIs, webhooks, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Good to have: Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and automated remediation.
