Position Name – Databricks DevOps & Self-Service Platform Engineer
Type of hiring – Fulltime/Subcon
Location – Downtown Toronto, ON
Work Model – Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)
Exp – 6-9 Years
Job Description:
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD frameworks using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Must have experience with Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB) for automated data product deployments.
- Expertise in Python, YAML, Databricks CLI, REST APIs, and Git.
- Develop reusable deployment templates, automated release pipelines, and environment promotion workflows.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with code scanning, security validation, and data governance tools.
- Experience with Unity Catalog, Databricks permissions, and deployment automation.
- Good to have: DataHub, Terraform, SonarQube, and self-service developer portal integrations.
