Job Title: Developer / QE Automation Engineer
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia
Role Overview
Seeking a highly hands-on Developer/QE Automation Engineer with strong software development and coding capabilities. Preference is for someone currently working as a developer who is comfortable taking on QE/automation responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Strong hands-on Python and Java development skills; developer-level coding proficiency is essential.
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation using Robot Automation Framework.
- Strong experience with API testing and automation, including REST APIs.
- Hands-on SQL for backend/database validation and troubleshooting.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux, scripting, debugging, and application troubleshooting.
- Develop reusable automation components, test scripts, utilities, and frameworks.
- Perform a combination of development and QE activities – writing, testing, debugging, and reviewing code.
- Experience with AI development, AI-assisted coding tools, or AI-enabled solutions is strongly preferred.
Ideal Profile: Strong Python/Java developer with automation/QE experience, rather than a traditional QE/manual testing profile.

Responsibilities
