Location: Vancouver BC (Hybrid 4 days in a week)
Must have strong: At least 5+ years of exp in Automation/SDET, iOS testing, Xcode, XCUI, python or java coding
Job Description
Looking for an SDET – Mobility (IOS) Engineer. The team is responsible for application architecture, development and innovation of new feature development to support consumer solutions. In this role, you will ensure to provide the highest quality deliverables for each release. Support high-quality automation test engineering, test plan and principles, adhere to QA best practices. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test solutions.
- Develop high-quality test engineering best practices for the team.
- Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, quality Engineers, Product Managers to deliver high performing quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful and powerful in their simplicity.
- Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on automation best practices.
- Responsible for helping to identify gaps and needs of the agile team.
- Coordinate various test-related activities for project delivery, identifying task dependencies, test schedules, creation of test data and utilization of test environments.
- Develop and monitor test metrics and provide timely communication to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Consistently demonstrates regular, dependable attendance & punctuality

Develop and maintain automated tests for iOS applications, support test planning and quality engineering practices, and help ensure high-quality releases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, review automation code, coordinate test activities, and report test metrics to stakeholders.
Requirements
Requires at least five years of experience in automation or SDET work, including iOS testing and experience with Xcode and XCUITest. Candidates must also have coding experience in Python or Java.
