Position Name – Senior Azure Databricks Platform / Infrastructure Engineer
Type of hiring – Fulltime/Subcon
Location – Downtown Toronto, ON
Work Model – Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)
Job Description:
Exp – 8-12 Years
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure infrastructure, Databricks platform engineering, and Python.
- Expertise in Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, Private Link, Private Endpoints, DNS, and secure connectivity.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, IAM, RBAC, managed identities, and service principals.
- Design and develop reusable Terraform modules, infrastructure blueprints, and automated provisioning frameworks.
- Experience provisioning and configuring Azure Databricks workspaces, ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, and Unity Catalog.
- Strong understanding of Azure security, governance, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Ability to work directly with client architects and engineering teams on technical design and implementation.
- Good to have: Azure Policy, enterprise landing zones, configuration drift detection, and Databricks account administration.
