Position Name – Snowflake Administrator
Type of hiring – Fulltime
Location – Markham, ON - Hybrid (3 Days Onsite (Mon/ Tues/ Wed)
Exp - < 7 Years
Job Description:
- 7 or more years of hands on experience with Snowflake administration, platform engineering, or cloud data platform operations.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, including accounts, organizations, databases, schemas, warehouses, stages, tasks, streams, shares, integrations, and account usage views.
- Strong experience with Snowflake RBAC, role hierarchy design, access management, security administration, and least privilege access patterns.
- Experience administering production Snowflake environments in an enterprise or regulated environment.
- Experience with Snowflake warehouse management, workload monitoring, query troubleshooting, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
- Experience with Snowflake security features such as network policies, authentication policies, masking policies, row access policies, object tagging, auditing, and service account controls.
- Working knowledge of identity integration patterns such as SSO, SCIM, Entra ID groups, MFA, service accounts, and key pair authentication.
- Experience with Terraform or infrastructure as code practices for platform configuration and automated deployments.

Responsibilities
Administer and secure enterprise Snowflake environments, including access controls, identity integrations, and platform configuration. Monitor and optimize warehouses and workloads, troubleshoot queries, and support automated deployments using infrastructure as code.
Requirements
Requires at least seven years of hands-on experience in Snowflake administration, platform engineering, or cloud data platform operations, with strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture and security. Candidates should have experience managing production environments, optimizing performance and costs, integrating identity systems, and using Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code practices.
