Who You Are
Are you a high-energy communicator who loves connecting with people and making things happen?
We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and enthusiastic Leasing Coordinator to be the welcoming first point of contact for our future residents!
In this role, you are the voice of our company - the critical bridge between an interested prospect and their future home.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love turning a casual inquiry into a booked appointment, and enjoy wearing multiple hats to help a team win, we want you on our side!
What You Will Do
- Be the First Impression: Field inbound calls with warmth, energy, and professionalism. You will be the very first voice our prospective tenants hear!
- Qualify with Confidence: Ask the right questions to uncover exactly what the prospect needs, ensure they meet our rental criteria, and make sure we are presenting them with all of our suitable property options to find their perfect match.
- Be the Resident Expert: Answer questions about our properties, amenities, and the application process to get prospects excited about living with us.
- Fill the Calendar: Masterfully convert inquiries into booked showing appointments for our leasing team.
- Lock It In: Follow up with prospects to confirm their appointments, reducing no-shows and keeping our leasing agents’ days running smoothly.
- Pivot & Hustle: Real estate has its ebbs and flows. When the phones are quiet, you won’t just sit around - you will jump in to support our growth by posting compelling rental ads, assisting with marketing initiatives, and finding new ways to generate leads.
- A People Person: You genuinely love talking to people. You have an upbeat, positive phone presence and can build instant rapport.
- A Closer at Heart: You aren't afraid to guide a conversation and ask for the appointment.
- Adaptable & Proactive: You are happy to switch gears from answering the phone to jumping in to support marketing initiatives without missing a beat.
- Highly Organized: You can manage multiple calendars, track leads in a CRM, and juggle follow-ups without letting anyone fall through the cracks.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills are an absolute must.
- Experience That Counts: Sales or marketing experience is a huge plus!
Our Mission at York Property Management is to work together in a safe, respectful, and friendly environment with effective communication to provide our residents quality service and a comfortable and positive living experience while being environmentally conscious.
Our Vision is to create and maintain rental properties that all of our residents are proud to call home.
York Property Management is committed to providing a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment. We welcome applications from people with disabilities and diverse backgrounds, identities and cultures. Accommodations are available throughout the application and interview process upon request.
Please note that a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required. Successful candidates, as a condition of job offer, would be required to provide a satisfactory criminal record check. A benefits package will be offered at 3 months of employment.
This posting is for a newly created position. We appreciate all applications. However, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
