$20.00 an hour; however, starting rate is negotiable based on experience.

alkiss WATER is a proudly Canadian, family-owned and operated company based in British Columbia. With roots dating back to 1992, we have grown through a combination of long-standing water businesses and continue to expand our operations while maintaining a hands-on, family-oriented approach.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dependable and proactive candidate to join our team.

Experience with call centers, accounts receivable, quickbooks online, customer service, and sales is an asset.

The ideal candidate will be:

organized, thorough, and pay great attention to detail
tech saavy (office applications and various software experience) and have excellent phone and computer skills;
punctual, hardworking and willing to learn
fluent in English, both written and verbal
solution oriented

Examples of duties may include:

Answering and responding to customer calls and inquiries
Processing customer orders and assisting with account questions
Following up with customers regarding orders, payments, and account balances
Entering and maintaining customer and account information
Assisting with accounts receivable and basic bookkeeping tasks
Processing invoices, payments, and related paperwork
Using QuickBooks Online and other company software
Assisting with sales and customer service as needed
Communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal staff
Helping with general office administration and other tasks as required

This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is comfortable managing a variety of tasks, communicating with customers, and learning new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer calls and inquiries, process orders, answer account questions, and follow up on orders, payments, and balances. Maintain customer records, assist with accounts receivable, bookkeeping, invoices, and payments, use QuickBooks Online and other software, and support sales and general office administration.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is organized, thorough, detail-oriented, punctual, hardworking, proactive, and willing to learn. They should be fluent in written and spoken English, have strong phone and computer skills, be comfortable with office applications and software, and ideally have experience in customer service, call centers, accounts receivable, QuickBooks Online, or sales.
