Original job description

Zaber is looking for a welcoming and hands-on Office Coordinator to join our Facilities and Office Management Team. You’ll greet visitors, welcome new employees, and keep our buildings running smoothly.

The Facilities and Office Management team is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of around 200 people. You’ll work closely with the Office Manager, playing an active role in shaping our work culture and representing Zaber to everyone who comes through our doors. Many of your tasks will be performed cross-functionally, assisting the Facilities side of your team through our ticket system.

Zaber is an employee-owned company that designs and manufactures precision motion control devices, enabling our customers to advance science and technology. You’ll play a key role in making it possible for our teams to do their best work.

As an Office Coordinator you will:

Greet visitors, answer and redirect calls, and create a welcoming front-desk experience.
Keep our kitchens, office supplies, and snack station organized and well stocked.
Create and maintain clear documentation for facilities and office procedures.
Set up new employees and orient them to our office systems.
Assist our Order Fulfillment Team with customer orders.
Assist with company events, team moves, and day-to-day office operations.

You’re the ideal Office Coordinator if you:

Are organized and able to keep track of and complete multiple tasks, even when interrupted.
Have a firm, welcoming, and professional manner, both in person and on the phone.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Are good at noticing gaps and suggesting ways to fill them. Are willing to learn new skills to make improvements and solve problems.
Have experience drafting emails and creating spreadsheets. Familiarity with G-suite is a plus.

Office Coordinator Role Details:

The starting wage for the role ranges from $22 - $31/hour depending on experience.
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 9am - 5pm on site, Monday to Friday
NOC: TEER 3
