Company Description Zebra Robotics is a pioneer in providing quality learning to students in the field of Robotics and Coding in a fun environment. Our innovative approach to STEM education equips students with the skills and knowledge required in this fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Knowledgeable instructors, renowned competition awards, and extensive course offerings set us apart from other similar programs. All of our curricula are made in-house by our experienced and passionate staff. Students learn critical thinking, design, and analytical skills through our courses. They also learn soft skills like time management, leadership, perseverance and teamwork, vital to success in any career.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Coding Instructor; an energetic individual with an engaging personality who believes in our philosophy of learning and innovating in a fun environment. Our coaches are the lifeblood of our operation. You will join our team of coaches to teach coding based on our proven curriculum.

Are you a technology teacher or do you have experience working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? This could be the role for you.

Requirements

3+ years experience teaching children with some developer experience is preferred
Graduate in degree in math, computer science, mech or electronics
Excellent oral communication.
Up beat, positive, energetic and works Independently.
Experience in HTML5,CSS3, JavaScript, Python, C, C++,unity and Java.
Experience working with children age 6 to 22.
Experience in science, technology and/or math will be preferred.
Good listener and strong influencer.
Ability to inspire and lead others.
Troubleshoot and assist students with their programs in a high paced environment.
Pre-employment background check is required.
Responsibilities include:
Teach coding based on our proven curriculum.
Create a positive and safe environment where innovation is encouraged.
Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.

Timing:

4:30pm to 8:30pm Tuesday to Wednesday and minimum 7 hours per week. Only apply if available during this time slots .

Pay scale: 18$ to 21$ per hour
