Company Description Zebra Robotics Surrey and Coquitlam focuses on teaching practical information and technology skills that help learners succeed in a competitive marketplace. About the Role

We're looking for an energetic, engaging coach to teach hands-on STEM projects to students in Grades 1–12. Our coaches are the heart of our program - if you love working with kids and want to build their problem-solving and engineering skills in a fun, innovative environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Deliver our STEM curriculum to students in Grades 1–12 (full training provided)

Engage and manage a classroom of 4–6 students, adapting lessons creatively to keep them interested

Troubleshoot and support students working through lessons and projects

Assess student progress each class and identify areas for improvement

Report daily progress to the center director

Uphold our high standard of education

What We're Looking For

Recently graduated or Currently enrolled in or a graduate of an undergraduate program in science, technology, engineering, or math

Verifiable experience working with children

Coding exposure is an asset

Creative, energetic, positive, and kid-friendly

Self-motivated, independent, and genuinely passionate about teaching kids

Volunteer work or a year of teaching experience is a plus

Strong verbal communication skills

Able to reliably get yourself to our Surrey Guilford and Coquitlam location on time

Willing to undergo and clear a background check before employment

Schedule

Weekday evenings, 3:30 PM–8 PM

Saturdays only, 10 AM–2 PM

Closed Sundays and major holidays

Arrive 15 minutes before class start time

Responsibilities

Teach hands-on STEM curriculum to students in Grades 1–12, managing small classes and adapting lessons to maintain engagement. Support students with projects, assess their progress, report daily updates to the center director, and uphold educational standards.

Requirements

Applicants should be enrolled in or have graduated from an undergraduate science, technology, engineering, or mathematics program and have verifiable experience working with children. The role also calls for strong communication, creativity, energy, independence, reliable transportation to the Surrey and Coquitlam locations, and the ability to pass a background check; coding exposure is an asset.
