We are currently seeking an Intermediate Contract Administrator to join the Calgary Team. The ideal candidate brings strong contract administration experience, effective field coordination and consultant communication skills, and a solid understanding of construction-phase project delivery.

Job Summary

The Intermediate Contract Administrator contributes to project success during the construction phase by managing documentation, field coordination, and consultant communication. This role brings a solid understanding of project workflows and ensures efficient and effective contract administration in alignment with Zeidler’s delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design + Documentation

Produce and distribute supplemental documentation including RFIs and change orders.
Final review of shop drawings and preparation of site-related documentation.
Maintain project documentation in accordance with filing systems and QA/QC standards.

Project Support + Coordination

Conduct site reviews and field observations.
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to support issue resolution.
Communicate construction updates to project leadership.
Ensure construction activities comply with office Project Delivery systems.
Ensure all work aligns with the firm’s Project Delivery standards, including proper use of filing systems, adherence to architectural procedures, and compliance with drawing and documentation protocols

Team + Culture

Promote team alignment and internal communication during project delivery.
Uphold health and safety policies.
Participate in a collaborative, adaptable, in-office and site-based work culture.
This position requires 100% in-office and/or site presence to support in-person collaboration, real-time mentorship, and effective cross-functional alignment across teams and disciplines.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Architecture or Architectural Technology, or equivalent experience.
5–9 years of relevant construction administration or construction management experience.
Strong knowledge of building codes, CA forms, and field review protocols.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with multi-project management ability.
Willingness to travel for site reviews; valid driver’s license required.
Familiarity with green building initiatives is considered an asset.
