About Us:

ZenaTech is a Nasdaq-listed technology company focused on AI drone, Drone as a Service (DaaS), and Technology solutions for mission-critical applications for business and governments. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of drone applications across various industries, including defense, agriculture, logistics and commercial in applications like traffic management, wildfire response, environmental monitoring, border control and industrial inspections.

This role would work out of our 250 University Ave, Toronto, ON M5G office.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for developing, implementing and optimizing email marketing strategies across all ZenaTech brands. This includes campaign strategy, content creation, list management, lifecycle automation, performance analysis and continuous optimization to drive engagement, nurture leads and support revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns across all brand channels, from strategy and content creation to delivery and performance analysis
Design and build email lifecycle automation workflows in HubSpot, including onboarding sequences, nurture campaigns, re-engagement workflows and post-event follow-ups
Create engaging, on-brand email content including copy, visuals and calls-to-action tailored to audience segments and customer journey stage
Manage email list segmentation and hygiene, ensuring accurate targeting, proper opt-in compliance and adherence to GDPR and CAN-SPAM regulations
Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis across campaigns; monitor KPIs (deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, conversions, ROI) and implement data-driven optimizations
Collaborate with design, content, sales and analytics teams to align email initiatives with broader marketing strategy
Stay current on email marketing best practices, platform updates and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
Design and execute persona and industry/vertical specific nurture tracks tailored to different segments across ZenaTech's brand portfolio, mapped to buyer journey stage and lead-scoring triggers rather than simple time-based delays
Build and maintain HubSpot dashboards and custom reports to monitor overall email program health, including list growth/decay, engagement trends, spam complaint rates, and unsubscribe trends, in addition to individual campaign performance
Monitor sending domain health and deliverability (SPF/DKIM/DMARC, sender reputation, blocklist status) and proactively resolve issues impacting inbox placement
Design and execute structured A/B and multivariate testing roadmaps, testing subject lines, send-time, from-name, content format, CTA placement and personalization, prioritized by potential impact, with documented learnings applied across future campaigns

Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience as an email marketer or in a related marketing role with significant email responsibility
Proven expertise in email marketing strategy, campaign execution and lifecycle automation
Advanced proficiency with HubSpot, including workflow automation, list management and reporting (or equivalent marketing automation platform)
Strong understanding of email best practices, deliverability, CRM integration, segmentation strategies and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
Proficiency with HTML and CSS for email template design and customization
Experience with data analysis tools such as Google Analytics and ability to interpret metrics and derive actionable insights
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills; ability to craft compelling, audience-specific messaging
Strong analytical mindset with experience running A/B tests and optimizing based on performance data
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in email marketing, HubSpot, Google Analytics or related field
Experience with B2B marketing and technical product campaigns
Familiarity with other marketing automation platforms or marketing analytics tools
Experience managing email marketing for multiple brands or product lines
Experience managing consistent testing and measurement standards across multiple brands or product lines
Familiarity with HubSpot's native A/B testing and reporting tools specifically
Basic SQL or analytics tool literacy for deeper program analysis beyond native platform reporting
Experience designing industry or persona-specific nurture campaigns tied to lead scoring and lifecycle stage, not just generic drip sequences
Working knowledge of statistical testing concepts (sample size, confidence/significance) to properly evaluate A/B and multivariate test results
Familiarity with deliverability monitoring tools (e.g., Google Postmaster Tools, sender score monitors) and email authentication standards (SPF/DKIM/DMARC)
