Technical Lead – SAS Cloud Modernization & Migration
Location: Markham, ON – Hybrid (Monday, Tuesday &
Wednesday onsite)
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with
strong SAS expertise to support a large-scale modernization and cloud
migration initiative.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Lead technical
activities for SAS modernization and cloud migration programs.
- Mandatory hands-on
experience with SAS-to-Snowflake modernization and migration.
- Strong experience with SAS-to-cloud
migration, including assessment, planning, architecture, migration,
testing, and implementation.
- Analyze existing SAS
applications, datasets, workflows, and dependencies and define migration strategies.
- Design and implement
scalable solutions using Snowflake and cloud technologies.
- Lead data migration,
transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Collaborate with data
engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and project teams.
- Troubleshoot technical
issues and provide guidance on migration best practices.
- Support modernization of
legacy SAS workloads into modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong communication,
technical leadership, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
