Role: DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer with AI
Location: Halifax, NS (4 Days hybrid)

Job Description:
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions or (Python with AI)
- Experience creating and debugging pipeline stages
- Strong understanding of build systems and project types (Maven, NPM, PyPi, .NET, MSBuild)
- Ability to write POM and Settings files from scratch
- GitHub Actions workflows, execution, and runners
- Experience with tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitOps, Artifactory, SonarQube, Terraform, UCD, Ansible
- Jenkins pipelines (Declarative, Multibranch, Maven pipelines)
- Troubleshooting Jenkins failures and configuration issues
- SonarQube configuration and usage
- CD tools like Terraform, UCD
- Ansible for configuration and deployment
- Docker and containerization (Dockerfiles, commands)
- Kubernetes (clusters, namespaces, PV/PVC, Helm charts, kubectl deployments)
- Troubleshooting Kubernetes issues (pods, logs, nodes, events)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Diploma in IT with equivalent experience

Build, configure, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Support deployment and configuration automation, containerization, and Kubernetes operations, including diagnosing cluster and workload issues.
Requirements
Candidates should have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, pipeline configuration, and tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT diploma with equivalent experience is required.
