"Jira Intake & Automation Developer – Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Jira Administration, including project configuration, workflows, custom fields, screens, permissions, and dashboards.
- Expertise in Jira Automation for building and maintaining automated intake, approval, routing, notification, and escalation processes.
- In-depth knowledge of Jira Workflows, Customizations, Request Types, and Forms to support complex business and operational requirements.
- Experience integrating Jira with external systems through HTTP calls, REST APIs, Webhooks, and automation rules.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python and/or Java scripting to develop custom automations, integrations, and workflow enhancements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient Jira intake and process automation solutions.
Preferred: Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM), ScriptRunner, Agile/Scrum environments, and enterprise workflow automation initiatives."

Responsibilities
Configure and administer Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, screens, permissions, dashboards, request types, and forms to support business and operational needs. Requirements
Requires strong hands-on Jira administration and automation experience, in-depth knowledge of workflows and customizations, and experience with HTTP calls, REST APIs, or webhooks. Candidates should have basic Python and/or Java scripting knowledge and strong analytical and problem-solving skills; JSM, ScriptRunner, Agile/Scrum, and enterprise workflow automation experience are preferred.
