Role: On Premise DevOps Engineer
Location: Halifax, NS (4 Days hybrid)

Job Description:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Diploma in IT with equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience creating and debugging pipeline stages
- Strong understanding of build systems and project types (Maven, NPM, PyPi, .NET, MSBuild)
- Ability to write POM and Settings files from scratch
- GitHub Actions workflows, execution, and runners
- Experience with tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitOps, Artifactory, SonarQube, Terraform, UCD, Ansible
- Jenkins pipelines (Declarative, Multibranch, Maven pipelines)
- Troubleshooting Jenkins failures and configuration issues
- SonarQube configuration and usage
- CD tools like Terraform, UCD
- Ansible for configuration and deployment
- Docker and containerization (Dockerfiles, commands)
- Kubernetes (clusters, namespaces, PV/PVC, Helm charts, kubectl deployments)
- Troubleshooting Kubernetes issues (pods, logs, nodes, events)

Responsibilities
Build, configure, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, along with build systems and tools such as Maven, Artifactory, and SonarQube. Support deployment and configuration using Terraform, UCD, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes, including troubleshooting cluster and workload issues.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT diploma with equivalent experience, plus hands-on experience creating and debugging CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should be familiar with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, build systems, deployment and configuration tools, Docker, and Kubernetes.
