Lead or facilitate hands-on product development initiatives for custom welded assemblies, burst plugs, and related pressure relief products from concept through design release, validation, production readiness, and documentation completion.
Use SolidWorks and other engineering tools to create, review, and maintain CAD models, assemblies, drawings, and other technical documentation as required.
Develop, review, and maintain quality and process documentation such as PFDs, D/PFMEAs, Control Plans, Travellers, test plans, work instructions, lab reports, and other APQP or customer-required documentation.
Drive welding process development and implementation activities related to GTAW, LBW, product qualification, WPS/PQR/WPQ review, certification scope expansion, and applicable industry standards, or customer-specific requirements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives involving process standardization, workflow improvement, product qualification, documentation consistency, and lab capability.
Escalate quality, safety, customer impact, schedule risk, supplier capability concerns, unclear requirements, and workload risks with objective evidence, recommended next steps, and appropriate urgency.
Provide additional engineering support to ZOOK’s teams and customers as required.

Qualifications
