Zurich Canada is currently looking for a bilingual English/French professional with prior office or reception experience to join our Office Experience team in Montreal.

In this highly visible role, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for employees, clients and visitors while helping create a welcoming, professional, and well-run workplace.

Reporting to the AVP, Office Experience Manager, you’ll support reception, switchboard, office services, meetings and events, mail, and day-to-day workplace operations.

What you will do

Create a Great First Impression

Welcome employees, clients, and visitors and provide a warm, professional experience.
Switchboard support in both English and French.
Support employees with meeting spaces, building information and day-to-day workplace needs.
Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming front-of-house environment.

Help Keep the Office Running Smoothly

Support the day-to-day readiness of common areas, meeting rooms, and shared office spaces.
Coordinate mail, courier, office supplies, and general workplace services.
Management of kitchens including: dishwashers, inventory management, maintenance and snacks.
Liaise with building management and service providers on facilities-related needs.
Maintain office information and administrative records using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Provide basic office-equipment support and escalate issues when required.

Support Meetings, Events and Administration

Prepare meeting rooms and support meetings, events, catering, and basic audiovisual needs.
Support workplace health and safety activities as required.
Take on additional Office Experience responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Job Qualifications - What You Bring To The Table

Required:

Fluency in both spoken and written English and French.
1–3 years of previous reception, office services, or corporate office experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer-service and communication skills.
Professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and common workplace technology.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Fluency in English is required to facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec.

At Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is 45,000 - 55,000. This range reflects the expected pay for the role across Canada and may vary depending on factors like office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable compensation range, but starting salaries may exceed this range based on a candidate’s skills and experience.
