1100 Technologies is an operator-led software and systems studio building custom business software, automation, AI systems, and our own software platforms.
We’re hiring two Junior Software Developers to work directly on real products and business systems used inside operating businesses.
This is not a role where you’ll spend months fixing tiny tickets in a massive codebase. You’ll get exposure to the full development process - understanding a business problem, designing a solution, building it, shipping it, and seeing how people actually use it.
What you’ll work on
Our current projects include:
- Forge - quoting, CRM, product data, and project-management software for retailers and showrooms
- Custom internal business systems for order management, procurement, operations, and analytics
- AI agents that connect to real company tools and workflows
- Large-scale product/catalog data systems
- E-commerce and workflow automation
- New internal tools and SaaS products as they are developed
You’ll work across both frontend and backend development depending on the project.

- Build and improve React-based web applications
- Develop backend APIs and business logic
- Work with databases and large datasets
- Integrate third-party APIs and business systems
- Build automation and AI-enabled workflows
- Debug, test, and improve existing applications
- Work directly with the founder to turn business requirements into working software
- Use modern AI development tools to build faster while still understanding the code you ship

Who we’re looking for
You’re probably a good fit if you:
- Have a strong foundation in software development
- Have built projects outside of coursework
- Enjoy figuring things out instead of waiting for detailed instructions
- Can take an idea and turn it into something functional
- Care about how software solves the actual business problem
- Learn new technologies quickly
- Communicate clearly and ask good questions
- Are comfortable using AI development tools while still thinking critically about the output
0–2 years of professional experience is completely fine.
Personal projects, internships, GitHub work, startup experience, or software you’ve built on your own can matter more to us than years of experience.

As a junior developer, you’ll get unusually broad exposure to product thinking, software architecture, AI, business operations, and shipping production software.
You’ll also work closely with the people making product and business decisions rather than several layers removed from them.
